All of the fonts from Google Fonts are Open Source. This means you can use them anyway you want and anywhere you want — privately or commercially –without fear of copyright issues. One of the biggest advantages of using Google Fonts, is the ability to render your fonts on your website visitors’ browsers, eliminating any font substitution on their end.

The Google Font Directory has hundreds of high-quality fonts to choose from and new ones become available on a regular basis.
